Rejoice! Or…Beware! The Gender Fairy is loose and has found their way back to York! 

On September 11th, The Wheel of Nouns is collaborating with Queer Affaire and Little j to deliver an unforgettable night of queer art stalls, cabaret-theatre, and community! 

From 7:00-8:00PM come browse art stalls with work by local queer artists, and take a second to relax and socialise with old friends and new.

Then at 8:00 PM sit back and enjoy Hook's 70-minute cabaret comedy The Wheel of Nouns! 

In The Wheel of Nouns, The Gender Fairy uses jokes, a game show wheel, and audience participation* to explore the questions "What is gender anyway?" and "What will it take for just one fairy to turn everyone in the world trans?” 

Part stand-up, part theatre, part game show, The Wheel of Nouns plays with the flexibility of the language we use to define ourselves, and invites people…
